SUMMER YOUTH CONCERT SERIES - 2013
It's
that time of year! Jim Galbierz,
of Swing City in Edwardsville, is starting to organize 2013 summer season of
The Edwardsville / Glen Carbon area Youth Concert Series. This will be the 4th season of these
FREE family friendly events at Miner Park, in Glen Carbon Illinois.
Past
years have included performances by local youth groups including Equal Squeeze,
The Mellow D's, Exit 12, C'est La Vie, The Juvenile Delinquents, Love Me, Leave
Me, Last in Line, Victory Friday, Lindsey & Alex, The Rock Hoppers,
Salvation of the Outcome, Reckless Revolution, and Stay the Night. Expect to see some new faces this
summer!
If
you've got a youth band and would like to be part of the concert series, please
stop by Swing City Music in Edwardsville to speak to Jim or Steve.
We
are also seeking sponsors for the 2013 season. Your contributions will help pay
for production and advertising this FREE concert series for the Edwardsville /
Glen Carbon and surrounding community. Many area businesses have helped this
concert series thrive. Past
sponsors have included: Swing City Music, The Auto Body Shop, Annie's Frozen
Custard, Heroic Adventures, Schwartzkopf Printing, Inc, Jimmy G. Productions,
The Bank of Edwardsville, and Groovyware Tie Dye.
We
hope you'll consider helping us this year. Your business can help sponsor this great series for only
$75.00. It's a great way to
support local music and community and help young musicians break into the scene
and get to play before a live audience.
